Festive and Funky at The Drunken Monkey

Christmas parties are a great opportunity for you to say thank you to your staff, here, at the Drunken Monkey. We have put together some party ideas that are sure to suit your individual needs. Whether you have a team of 10 to 200 guests, we can assist you in putting together a night to remember.

Escape from the office by hosting a drinks table in our main bar, ordering some of our delicious canapes or sitting down to our Christmas banquet that kicks off with a glass of festive bubbles on arrival.

Alternatively, if your party is between 30 – 55 people, you might choose to take over our Member’s bar for the night, ensuring exclusive access to your own DJ booth, bar and washrooms.

We can even set up a mini casino, hold a masterclass or simply set up the Nintendo Wii on our projector screen to give your Christmas party that extra festive twist.

Finally, if you have a up to 250 guests, you may want to hire the whole of the monkey and make use of all our facilities. We can help you plan the night to make sure that every room is used to its full potential for your group’s entertainment.

How to book

Firstly, have a look and decide how you would like to enjoy your evening with us by having a look at the suggestions below. Once you have decided what you would like  Download our Christmas Menus and Booking form here  and send the form back to us at events@thedrunkenmonkey.co.uk

As soon as we get this we will check availability and send you an invoice for your Christmas deposit. (We ask for 50% deposit on what you are booking i.e dinner for 8 @ £24.50 per head)

When we have received the deposit we can get back to you then confirm your booking.

Lunch and Dinner at the Monkey

Lunches will be fun and lively with the usual mix of festive tunes filling the room. Then every night we will be having some of London’s best known DJ’s raising the atmosphere from about 9pm onwards.

Our Christmas lunch banquet is £19.50 and our dinner is £24.50 starting with a welcome glass of bubbles.

The food is served in traditional Chinese banquet style, where many different dishes follow on from each other throughout the course of the evening meal.

Please not that there is an alternative vegetarian option on all our set menus.

Christmas Drinks!

Drinks tables can be reserved throughout the festive season for 10 – 150 people. Why not take advantage of our infamous happy hour from 5-7 every weekday when you can grab a Monkey Mojito along with a selection of our best loved cocktails. Alternatively, grab a bucket of either Asahi or award winning Cains beer, you may also want to pre order some canapes for your guests.

Our drinks tables are designed as a base for you and your guests throughout the evening with some seating and plenty of space to rest your glass.

To reserve a table we ask that you arrive by 7.30pm and that there is a minimum spend of £10 per person.

Hire out our members bar

Our members bar “Liang Shan Po is situated through an unassuming door towards the rear of the main bar and is available throughout December for bookings of up to 55 people.

This luxurious secret space is inspired by the Shanghai opium dens and has it’s own bar, DJ booth and wash room.

Our team are at hand to help you design your own food and drinks menu and put together the night that is right for you.

We do not charge a hire fee for our members bar, but we do ask that you agree to reach our minimum spend on food and drink if you plan to use it for the whole of the evening. This ranges from £800 – £1600 depending on the night you wish to take it.

Make the Monkey Exclusively yours!

The whole of the Monkey can be made exclusively available to you if you have a party of up to 250 people.

This gives you use of the whole of the Drunken Monkey, its staff and facilities.

Convert the concubine room in to a games room, Liang Shan Po into a mini casino and cocktail lounge and the Wu dan room into a noodle bar.

Bookings are POA and although we do not charge a hire fee we do ask you to agree to meet our minimum food and drink spend for the night.
